KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 — After yesterday’s scrabble for My Chemical Romance (MCR) tickets, those out of luck might get another chance.
The @hellouniversemy X account posted a short vid teasing at the possibility of more opportunities to watch the band in Kuala Lumpur.
In the vid, text was displayed stating: “Malaysia we hear you. The march is not over.”
Fans have been speculating as to what the cryptic video could be foreshadowing.
Would there be more seats opened for the standing area? Would another date be added?
The 60,000 tickets available for the April 30 2026 Kuala Lumpur leg of the My Chemical Romance South-east Asia tour were sold out online within a few hours but fans complained online about resellers buying tickets in bulk as well as high processing fees.
MCR last performed in Malaysia at Stadium Merdeka in 2007.
